For those productions where a helicopter is preferred or required, AVS works directly with providers to supply local aircraft and pilots. We have a wide variety of helicopter mounting systems for use with our six GSS/Cineflex gyro-stabilized gimbal camera systems and a network of the industry's top camera operators.
AVS has the latest generation GSS model C512e gimbals with Sony P-43 4K/UHD cameras and Canon CJ45ex9.7 IASE-V H lenses. This newest lens has a focal length of 9.6 to 437mm, or 874mm with the internal 2X optical extender.
AVS also carries the Cineflex V-14 with three systems upgraded to Sony 2500 cameras and one Sony 1500 camera with Fujinon HA42x9.7 BERD-U48 or optional Fujinon HA13x4.5BERM wide angle lens. The focal length is 9.7 to 399mm or 798mm (standard) or 4.5 to 59mm (wide angle).
All aerial packages can be provided with high-power HD or 4K/UHD microwave transmitting systems for live event coverage.
